Velvet is luscious, tactile and rich in color. It has been used to decorate this hat in varying ways. The flower feels like a rose due to the soft texture of the velvet. This material is echoed around the 5 inch high round crown and along the edge of the 4 inch wide brim. The wool has been treated with TEFLON Fabric Protector, so rain and stains won't damage the hat. Elasiticized inner sweatband.
