Purple Measuring Cups
Purple Measuring Spoons
Purple Measuring Bowls
Designed by a chef who wanted better, smarter kitchen tools, these purple kitchen utensils are like Kitchen Version 2.0. The measuring spoons can be removed individually from the ring and replaced without opening the ring. The mixing bowls are measured and marked on the inside where the ingredients are, lay flat on the counter on a non-skid ring, and have built-in pour spouts for cleaner pouring. The handles are ergonomic. The material is light weight so it's easier on your wrists. The whole purple measuring set matches. Amazing this didn't happen sooner.
You can also add the Dark Purple Measuring Mixing Bowl 12 cups to complete the full set! We love that we can remove a single measuring spoon from the set and snap it right back on where it goes. Having purple measuring spoons with labels like "smidge" and "pinch" is also just the kind of fun, irreverent thing that The Purple Store's customers admire.
One quick tip: The bowls are designed to be held with the length of your hand. The most ergonomic way to hold the bowls is to reach under the handle with your palm pressing against the bowl, your thumb over the top of the handle (so the handle is between your thumb and index finger). Also note that immersion blenders are okay to use in the bowls while hand mixers with exposed beaters might scratch the bowl surface a bit.
All items are displayed in the group photo but note that they are sold in groups and not all items are always available; you may only see one or two choices to select. When we have enough components available the purple measuring sets save a few dollars and we recommend the whole shebang as a matching purple kitchen set!
