Plum Fiesta Gusto Bowl
These purple gusto bowls are perfect for hearty stew, gumbo, chili or chowder meals. For those who prefer a taller purple cereal bowl or like to eat stir fry from a bowl rather than a plate, this is the bowl.
Iconic, collectible, and purple, Fiesta purple dinnerware looks elegant on a classy dinner table and casual enough for everyday use. Hand-made in the U.S.A, this purple dishware is great for home or restaurants.
They're made with lead-free glaze, rich purple color, signature styling, and timeless designs that stick around for years (so you'll be able to get more down the road if that dish-frisbee game goes awry).
The mfr. says Fiesta dinnerware items (such as plates) are oven safe to at least 350F degrees, while bakeware (such as baking trays) are designed for up to 500F degrees. They recommend against putting the items on a stovetop or directly under a broiler.
Please keep this in mind: As Fiesta is hand-made and fired in an old school factory, each piece is unique and you'll see occasional porcelain dimples or scuffs (which show more on the dark colors) as part of the process. They're made in an old workshop with a process used since 1936; these are part of the charm and character of Fiesta!
Comments from The Purple Store:
Eat meal-sized portions of chili or gumbo from these purple gusto bowls while using the purple salad plates as saucers. If you feel like spoiling them, your small dog or large cat may even like to use your purple gusto bowls as water dishes.
