The Purple Store's Exchange and Return Policy
We love our customers and do our best to make shopping at The Purple Store easy, fun, and reliable.
If you are not satisfied, you may return your unused, unworn product, with tags still attached, plus original packaging within 30 days of your shipment date for a full refund of the purchase price (less shipping costs). Within 35 days, subject to availability, your unused item may be eligible for size exchanges. To help those who shop early for holiday gifts, we extend the exchange deadline to January 7th for holiday gifts purchased after November 15th. Otherwise, please refer to any warranty information that came with your product if applicable. Please see below for details on orders sold at an arranged discount.
Exceptions: Close-out (clearance) sale merchandise is not eligible for return or exchange unless defective. Orders sold at an arranged discount (such as large volume orders) are usually eligible for exchanges within 30 days but are not eligible for returns (some returns may be accepted but volume discounts may be reduced based in final quantity purchased). Some built-to-order or other smaller furniture pieces (some office chairs) can be returned or exchanged with a 25% restocking fee (please see the item's product page for specifics). Most built to order pieces such as sofas and larger chairs are usually not returnable. "Pre-ordered" items that are offered to everyone in advance of a batch of items being produced are usually eligible for exchanges but not returns (check the item's product page for more details). Sales on special-order items that we don't normally stock are considered final but can sometimes be exchanged with a 20% restocking fee. For health reasons, some items such as earrings, wigs, hair extensions, socks, face masks, and other intimate apparel cannot be returned or exchanged once removed from packaging or used. Please check sizing carefully for these items or ask ahead of time; sizing guidelines are as accurate as we can get but everyone's shaped a bit differently, so please keep this in mind. Perishable items, such as candy and flowers, are similarly non-returnable. Thank you for understanding!
How to exchange or return: E-mail us (returns /at/ thepurplestore.com) with your product information and reason for return or exchange. We'll send you the information you need to send the item(s) back to us and can answer any questions and check size availability for you (for exchanges) before you ship the item back. We discount the out-bound shipping for exchanges.
We sincerely appreciate having items folded neatly and returned within any product packaging so they're ready to re-sell. All original tags (preferably attached) and product packaging must be returned to receive your refund or exchange and the return package must arrive to us within 30 days of the original shipment date. Please take care of the item(s) while you have them. If the product is returned soiled, has been worn or used, has been stored in a smoky or other scented area, or is received after 30 days of your original shipment, we cannot accept it for refund or exchange and will not be responsible for returning the item(s). We appreciate your help caring for the product!
If we ever err and somehow send you the wrong item, we'll gladly cover return shipping costs in most cases.
