These beautiful purple colanders are a perfect addition to a stylish purple kitchen. They're powder-coated with a rich purple color over a stainless steel core.
There are three sizes to choose from. The 1.5 quart is for berries and smaller items, while the larger two work as a pasta strainer and for washing larger fruits. We have them in two set options so you can save a few dollars as well!

The powder coating on these colanders is the strongest our mfr. has found to bring out a rich color. To keep them in good shape and avoid color flaking (and rust), here are some tips:
Handwash when possible; avoid the dishwasher
We love carrying products that are dishwasher safe, but we don't think these are (they're technically manufactured for it, but we suggest otherwise). Some people have cleaned colanders like these in their dishwasher for years without problem, placing them in gently, but you've been warned!
Avoid Scraping
Abrasive cleaners and abrasive sponges can wear the coating down over time. Clean, don't scrape.
This is not a steamer.
The colander is designed for hot and cold water, but not sustained boiling.
