Help Us Choose the Next Purple Products at The Purple Store!
If you’ve been following us on Facebook or Google+, you know we’ve been asking for your input all year on new products that you want us to carry in The Purple Store.
We’ve crunched all of the numbers and come up with some products we’re definitely going to carry:
We’ve already started trying to find suppliers or manufacturers for purple dresses (casual, cocktail, business, and formal, and especially dresses that you can dress up or dress down) that come in a full range of sizes from petite to plus.
We’re making new Women’s shoes (heels and flats) and Men’s shoes (business/formal) as you read this, and they should be added to The Purple Store sometime in the next couple of months.
We’ll also be adding a few more stuffed animals, a few more styles of sunglasses, more watches, more holiday decorations, and more furniture in the next coming weeks!
However there are a number of products that garnered quite a lot of interest and enthusiasm and we wanted to make sure we got your highest priorities to you sooner! So we’ve created this poll to get your feedback on which products you want most!
We would sincerely appreciate it if you could take a few moments to vote for your two favorite items from the list below. Please only pick two items, as the program will only accept two answers, and may even error out and not count your vote at all if you vote for more than two.
Please Also Note: We tried to show examples of the actual products we want to carry as often as possible, but there are a few in there where we just went for a generic example because we’ll be designing and manufacturing the actual products ourselves in the end.

Didn’t care for the mens purple
wish I could have voted for more. Great items. Purple things like staplers, storage containers, candles are readily available at places in Australia, so I’d be astonished to find them not available in the US. Nice shawls or hemmed fabric pieces would nice for decorating along with pillows that match.
I have been searching for an electric purple kettle for soooooooo long. This has to be one of the new items you carry 😀

Purple sandals, PLEASE! I cannot find pretty bejeweled dark purple anywhere! Would love purple jeans, as well, but plz make the plus sizes, at least, stretch for comfort.

I’d love purple kitchen appliances. I have a few but would love electric knife and electric can opener. All the offerings are great, some I’ve seen elsewhere.
Please please stock any womens and mens clothes/shoes in plus plus sizes, we love purple as well. Kettles and many other electrical appliances are available in Australia in purple, different electrical currents would make shipping to different countries difficult.
I love the purple storage containers! I can think of several uses for the candles.
We have purple electric kettles in Australia, but they are not good quality. After only a couple of weeks the paintwork was spotted and fading severely. So disappointing!!!
I would only vote for purple women’s jeans/sweaters if they’ll be carried in plus size!! We can’t all be skinnie minnie’s!

I just put a new roof on my house. There are NO purple/eggplant shingles. I begged the manufacturers with whom I spoke to add purple selections.

when my kids were little in the early 70’s, I looked for purple clothes everywhere. my mother told me purple is not a child’s color. so happy times have changed. but way too late for my purpleless kids
I’ve been wanting an affordable purple jean jacket for a very long time. Yesterday, I finally dyed a white one purple, along with an old tee shirt and a pair of socks.

I voted for the purple jeans, even though I know you would not carry my size; briefs-4X, jeans/pants-58/31, blazers/jackets-5X,SWEATERS-5X. It would be nice if you would be able to carry those items to fit a Big & Tall guy, like me!
We try to carry plus and big&tall sizes whenever possible. Many of our men’s shirts and t-shirts come in sizes 4x and higher (I think the largest we go is 6x and a 19 1/2 for shirts), and we’ll make sure we get some larger sizes in for the blazers and sweaters if we carry them!
#1 purple sheet sets. #2 purple skinny jeans. Love the wall clock too!
I chose items that are unique: the office supplies and the wall clock. You can find the bedding and clothing elsewhere, but you cannot find the unique items anywhere else.
I would like to see some plus size women clothes in purple. P.S. I love your website!

You just can’t have too much purple office supplies; such as paper, pens, pencils, desktop organization, sticky notes, staplers, note dispensers, business card holders, picture frames, eyeglass cases, sorting in-baskets, folders, on and on and on.
That Wall Clock just grabs your attention and I only use Flameless Candles with pets around. Love It.
In addition to the jeans and sheets, I’ve never found real purple sheets in CA king size, would love a truly purple womens’ blazer too!! But please make sure your clothes are available in a wide range of sizes…Most colorful clothing is made in junior sizes or for kids…I”m 5’8″, and big on top.

While I currently need purple office supplies and purple storage containers, Once I have them I will not need two purple staplers or two pairs of purple scissors. I just redid my kitchen in a Purple Iris theme and I need purple Silicon utensils. But that is also a one time thing as well. As an ongoing items that I need – I always need more purple sweaters and summer shirts, sandals, and I need a new pair of purple Tivas. I wear them out every summer. Bring on the purple!
The clock is awesome. Would like to see bath accessories especially a purple bathroom scale.
I would really like to see some fabric(not plastic “leather”) purses in the $50 range. I love the purses you carry, but they are too expensive for me.
We’re working on sourcing those too right now, both in “pleather” and other fabrics!
I would buy the purple sheets if they were deep pocket (20inch) the comforter looks really nice i also love the purple kettle and wall clock.
I voted for the women’s jeans because I can find the shirts (from you as well) but only once in my life have I found the jeans – when I was a teen. But, I too need them in Womens Plus sizes. I also loved the sheets! They are the perfect shade! I have only found purple patterns (which I have gotten) but would most love solid. The only solids I have seen are way too pale/light. Thank you for keeping us in the loop!
I have a set of purple cookware that I purchased years and years ago from chadwicks of boston, I want another set but cannot find any purple pots anywhere! Mine are old and scratched up. I need purple cookware!!!

Try BrylaneHome.com — they have a great selection of purple cookware, utensils, dishes, dish towels, etc. I recently purchased a 13 gal. waste can with a auto open/close sensor lid! It works great, and is beautiful.

I would also like sheets and a duvet cover. As one person wrote, office supplies in purple ARE available here, and in Australia…but usually in set of a lot of other colors I don’t want, or in pale purple (lavender)…not in good, dark purple. That’s the same problem I have with sheets. I chose to vote for sheets ‘cuz they are harder to find.

We’ll likely be carrying ALL of these things eventually! We’re just using this to prioritize which things we should carry first.

I agree with many of the comments we already have a large supply of electrical goods and storage etc available in Australia.And the electricity thing is a problem. With ur clothing PLUS sizes are what is needed particularly size 16 up Australian size wise (not sure equivalent size wise American). Dresses tops and particularly bigger size Jeans would be awesome. .
Purple make up brushes would be good too.
I loved visiting your store in May during my trip to the US and would love to order items, but shipping costs to New Zealand are prohibitive. I want the purple kitchen scale … can you make me a special shipping deal I can’t refuse??? Lol
I had difficulty picking two items, mainly because I already have many of the other items offered in purple! My motto is “if it isn’t purple, it can either be dyed or painted”. My kitchen (with the exception of large appliances) is all purple – cookware, silverware, utensils, dishes, towels even Microwave Oven, Blender, and Toaster, as well as a small electric mixer. I know which catalog websites to shop for all purple kitchen, bathroom, and other household items, as well as clothing selections. My car is Purple! I have been a purple lady for the past 30 plus years, and have quite a collection. Love your store for the unique items you carry which I can not find elsewhere.
It is nice that there are choices. I thought the kitchen scale for food was different and the kettle…Did not like the purple jacket for the men. Many things can be bought in stores evem the sandals.

I love all things Purple–is there any other color??? I would love purple shorts, purple casual and dressy sandals, and purple cotton sheets (not necessary solid color). I love this store and it’s hard to find purple stuff on Belize.

I would love to be able to buy long loose comfortable dresses in X sizes which are made with pretty fabric. The ones at Women Within are comfortable but not very pretty. I also would like to see kings size bedspreads in mostly purple prints. Thank you!

Which shirts are you looking at, Della? Because almost all of our shirts come in plus sizes, up to 5x.
The obvious choice for me is Purple & Black flannel long sleeve shirt.
